Do I Qualify?
CT patients may qualify for a Medical Marijuana Registration Certificate (Medical Marijuana card) for the palliative use of Medical Cannabis if they meet the following requirements:
Must have at least one of the following 40 CT state-approved medical conditions:
- Vulvodynia and Vulvar Burning
- Positive Status for HIV or AIDS
- Interstitial Cystitis
- Wasting Syndrome
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Intractable Headache Syndromes
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Intractable Migraine
- Epilepsy
- Fibromyalgia
- Uncontrolled Intractable Seizure Disorder
- Neuropathic Facial Pain
- Sickle Cell Disease
- Post-Herpetic Neuralgia
- Cerebral Palsy
- Severe Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Hydrocephalus with Intractable Headache
- Severe Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Cancer
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Cachexia
- Terminal Illness Requiring End-Of-Life Care
- Glaucoma
- Osteogenesis Imperfecta
- Crohn’s Disease
- Chronic Pancreatitis
- Tourette Syndrome
- Ulcerative Colitis
- Chronic Pain of at least 6 months duration associated with a specified underlying chronic condition refractory to other treatment intervention
- Damage to the Nervous Tissue of the Spinal Cord with Objective Neurological Indication of Intractable Spasticity (Spinal Cord Injury with Intractable Spasticity)
- Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Associated with Chronic Pain
- Chronic Neuropathic Pain Associated with Degenerative Spinal Disorders
- Intractable Neuropathic Pain that Is Unresponsive to Standard Medical Treatments
- Post Laminectomy Syndrome with Chronic Radiculopathy
- MALS Syndrome (Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome)
- Irreversible Spinal Cord Injury with Objective Neurological Indication of Intractable Spasticity
- Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy or Causalgia)
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)
- Failed Back Surgery Syndrome with Persisting Pain, including Failed Surgery of the Cervical Spine (neck), Thoracic Spine (midback), and Lumbar Spine (lower back)
- Movement disorders associated with Huntington Disease
Meet the following requirements:
- Be a legal CT resident 18 years of age or older
- Provide the doctor with a valid e-mail address and a primary telephone number *
*This should be an email address and a phone number that you are comfortable using in connection with your CT Medical Marijuana registration and treatment, as both the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (CT DCP) and REN Health will use them to communicate with you.
