Obtaining a Medical Marijuana Card

Since 2012, Connecticut residents have been able to gain legal access to Medical Marijuana for the treatment of 40 state approved qualifying conditions. Our compassionate physician, Alex Bibikau, MD is licensed to practice medicine in Connecticut and registered with the CT Department of Consumer Protection Medical Marijuana Program (DCP MMP) to certify qualifying patients. Meet with the Doctor Online During a telehealth video appointment our physician will determine if a Medical Cannabis Card is beneficial for you.
Step 3
Get Access to Medical Cannabis Qualified patients will be certified to the state on the same day of the appointment. Patients then will need to register for a Medical Marijuana card with the state, it takes from 1 to 14 days for the state to email the card.

Payment is due at the time of the appointment.

Medical Insurance

Insurance providers do not cover any Medical Marijuana related costs since it is not presently approved on a federal level. Additionally, herbal supplements generally are not covered by insurance companies. On the state level, Medical Marijuana is considered a controlled herbal supplement. Certification of a qualified patient by a doctor is not a prescription but a statement that the patient may benefit from its use.

Repeated Rescheduling

One time rescheduling is allowed if done at least 48 hours before your appointment. Repeated rescheduling will require a prepayment of the appointment fee in order to reserve an alternative appointment.

Missed Appointments and Late Cancellations

We do not double or triple book our appointments. The time allocated for your appointment is the time reserved for you. In consideration to other patients and our staff, please keep your appointment as scheduled. If you cannot make your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment time. Missed/no-show appointments and any changes made less than 48 hours before the appointment will require a prepayment of the appointment fee in order to reserve an alternative appointment.
